About the Blog

I like books and I like food. It's a simple formula. Topics you could find here:

• Short bites of books with quick recommendations
• The business of words, including items about newspapers, magazines, and blogs.
• Special reviews for cookbooks.
• Thoughts (and maybe a couple of rants) about reading and books.
• The blue-plate specials, with a full book review and a recipe inspired by the book.

I probably won't read a lot of romance novels or sci-fi, so if that's your genre, this blog won't be for you.
